“Borders” through the work of Christiana Lambrinidis
A modular audiovisual presentation of Christiana Lambrinidis’ work on the theme of borders, through four of her theatrical works (“B.OUND”, “Peace talk”, “National Kiss”, “Monologues of the borders”), their actions and their respective productions. The presentation is divided into four thematic sections: Borders and citizenship, Borders and fear, Borders and sexuality, Borders and incarceration, with relative videos and discussions.

Hiding places of self-esteem
Three experiential self-esteem workshops for children aged 5-12, each lasting thirty minutes, which will run simultaneously in three locations of the Centre for Mediterranean Architecture. Curated by the teacher, collaborator of the Mayor of Chania on education issues and author Anna Nempavlaki (“Ftou Kai Vgaino”/“Ready or not, here I come!”, Kaleidoscope Publishing) and by local artists and scientists, and others, the workshops will operate in a circular manner, so that all children will rotate through each one: 1st Workshop: “Delightful activity” (Athina Ntoulia, Education Advisor of the 1st Unit of Chania), 2nd Workshop: “A couple of words from Anna”, Anna Nempavlaki), 3rd Workshop: “Every work is a story” (Kosmas Lilikakis, artist).

“A Musical Bridge Between Greece and Turkey,” Honoring Zülfü Livaneli
A special musical evening dedicated to the deep friendship and artistic meeting of two iconic creators: Mikis Theodorakis and Zülfü Livaneli. The performance will be by Ioanna Forti, with Heraklis Zakkas on bouzouki, Alexandros Kapsokavadis on guitar, and Achilleas Wastor on piano, who is also responsible for the artistic direction of the program. Greetings will be delivered by Giannis Giannakakis, Deputy Mayor for Culture of Chania, and Giorgos Agorastakis, president of the Pan-Cretan Association of Mikis Theodorakis Friends.
