Using travel literature in teaching can be an excellent option to encourage students to explore new worlds and cultures. Educational material will be provided and interactive activities will be presented on the books «Fantastiki volta sto Londino» / “Fantastic walk in London”, «Fantastiki volta sti Florentia» / “Fantastic walk in Florence”, «Fantastiki volta sti Thessaloniki» / “Fantastic walk in Thessaloniki” (Kalenti Publishing), «Ta magika ble gyalia mas taxidevoun sta limania tis Kyprou» / “Our magic blue glasses travel us to the ports of Cyprus” (Cyprus Ports Authority). Children’s creative writing workshop “Travelling with imagination”
A creative writing program for children 7-12 years old on the subject of travel, with the educational curation of Melina Iliopoulou, Msc Sociologist, special educator and author, based on her book series “Fantastiki volta sti Thessaloniki”/“Fantastic Walk in Thessaloniki”, “Fantastiki volta sti Florentia”/“Fantastic walk in Florence”, “Fantastiki volta sto Londino”/“Fantastic walk in London” (Kalenti Publishing). The program aims to introduce children to the concept of studying different countries of the world through culture, language, and monuments.
